Inside

INSIDE is an independent, non-partisan joint initiative of IAE-CSIC (Institute for Economic Analysis, Spanish National Research Council) and MOVE (Markets, Organizations and Votes in Economics), with the financial support of the Fundació d’Economia Analítica. We aim at mobilizing and coordinating the research community contributing to the understanding of the causes and consequences of migrations and development. INSIDE promotes interdisciplinary research and is committed to scientific excellence. Tommaso Frattini, Visiting Fellow A Short Visiting Fellowship was awarded to Tommaso Frattini, who visited us  from June 15 to July 31, 2011. Tommaso received his PhD in economics from University College London (UK) in 2010 and is currently a “Franco Modigliani” Research Fellow at the Department of Economics, Business, and Statistics in the University of Milan, Italy. Short Visiting Fellowship Program INSIDE offers a limited number of Visiting Research Fellowships each year, aimed at supporting advanced research on migration and development while visiting the Institute for Economic Analysis in Barcelona (IAE-CSIC) or the research institute MOVE (Markets, Organizations and Votes in Economics) for a period of two to six months. Lucinda Platt, our Marie Curie Fellow We welcomed Lucinda Platt as a Marie Curie Fellow during the year of 2010 at the IAE-CSIC, studying the intersection of ethnic identity and structural position.
